Things to know, to do, and not to do:

Do not tell the potentially negligent health care provider that you are dissatisified and intend to pursue your legal remedies until you have secured the opinion of an experienced medical malpractice attorney.

Provide the medical opinion from any other physical specializing in the same area of medicine as the physician who was allegedly guilty of malpractice, who exprressed an opinion that attributed blame to your treating healthcare provider.

Obtain all relevant medical records prior to scheduling an appointment

If injured in an accident, never spek to the other parties' insurance company representative until you have spoken to an experienced personal injury attorney. Be wary of "hospital advisers" who tout the skills of an attorney who "allegedly" gets remarkable results for someone they know. That "advisor" is likely no more than a plant used by a desperate lawyer seeking business.

If you are injured in an automobile accident or as a result of a slip and fall or a trip and fall and either fractured a bone or impaired a body function or organ, you should necessarily call for an appointment.
